To secure the beautiful Edwardian location, Director Andrew Harvey house-sat for two weeks while the family went away on holiday. In return they agreed to let him shoot the movie on their property free of charge. The production was thrown into jeopardy when the family's rabbit went missing. Fortunately the pet was spotted the next morning happily nibbling some grass.
