Trivia:

In an interview in Newsweek Magazine (May 5, 2008), Patrick Dempsey mentioned shooting a nude locker-room scene for "Made of Honor." This scene was cut from the release print in order to preserve the PG-13 rating.

Goofs:

Continuity: In the scene where Tom and his friend are looking in the window of the bridal shop, and Tom sees his reflection in the window with him in the bridesmaid dress, it shows Tom having bare arms and neck so the dress allusion is complete. In the movie, however, he is wearing a polo and the sleeves longer than those of the dress, and the collar would show above the collar of the dress.

Remind you of WHEN HARRY MET SALLY?

MADE OF HONOR is a perfectly suited summer film of light and whimsy with a solid cast and moves at a good pace. The film is an "audience pleaser" with glamorous New York and Scottish locations, wonderful costumes and enjoyable humor. The writing was perfectly suited to the characters and their journeys.

All during the film I kept picturing WHEN HARRY MET SALLY meets MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING with an update with MADE OF HONOR. Also, the Scottish scenes reminded me of those from FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, and with the sense of "never forgetting" the one you really love and letting that person escape from your life forever. The final scenes are truly romantic, with a beautiful New York setting and exactly what you wanted from this film.
