Goofs for
"Fawlty Towers" The Germans (1975)

• Crew or equipment visible: As Basil Fawlty flees the doctor who wants to sedate him, a floor monitor can be seen in the background, complete with the same image that is on the screen.
  
  
• Errors in geography: The hotel is supposedly located in Torquay, yet at the start of "The Germans" the hospital where Sybil is staying is Northwick Park Hospital according to the sign outside. Northwick Park Hospital is in Middlesex in North West London, miles away from Devon.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Basil runs from the restaurant and into the office, as the door opens to the hallway you can see a monitor in the office, showing what we can see.
  
  

• Crew or equipment visible: When Basil is trying to escape Dr. Finn, who comes to the hotel armed with a filled syringe, he runs through the hotel dining room; a video camera with monitor can be seen through the glass in the dining room door.
  
  
• Plot holes: During the fire drill mix up, Manuel starts a fire in the kitchen. When he emerges, shouting 'Fire', Basil locks him in the kitchen where the fire is, and Manuel bangs on the door as if he is trapped. However, in all shots of the kitchen, there is a double door that leads to the dining room, so he could have easily got out.
