- The scene in Davy Jones locker the interactions between Jack Sparrow and himselves are a direct reference to The Play House.

- The T-1000 travels through the bars of the prison door, then the he gets stuck with his hand because of his firearm. This happens to Davy Jones in reverse order: First he gets stuck because of his claw hand, then he travels through the prison bars to Tia Dalma / Calypso.
