Without doubt one of the most beautifully shot films that I have seen for a very long time. The pictures of the estates, the sun rises, the landscape everything about the cinematograph was flawless.

One of the most noteble improvements in the film was the character of Mrs.Bennet, in the BBC you could say that she was 'terribly vexing' and wildly overacted not only Donald Sutherland role was excellent. Not forgetting of coarse was McFayden who I thought was equal to Firth's Darcy. If I did have a problem with the film it would be that it was perhaps slightly to rushed but they did their best.
