Diagnostician Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), a hobbling, Vicadin-popping, soap opera-addicted, rude and crude misanthrope with the bedside manner of Don Rickles -- and TV's most brilliant medical detective -- returns for a second season of puzzling symptoms and mysterious ailments. Lisa Edelstein is the exasperated hospital administrator, Robert Sean Leonard a fellow doctor and his best (and only?) friend, and Jennifer Morrison, Omar Epps, and Jesse Spencer his long-suffering interns, and this season his old love (Sela Ward) is on board as the hospital attorney, at least for the opening of the season. Guest stars this season include LL Cool J, Ron Livingstone, and Cynthia Nixon. Digipak case.
