Don't ever mistake Blake Lively for another famous Hollywood blonde. "I once heard someone say that I'm similar to Paris Hilton – since I have a dog and blonde hair, that must mean we're alike," Lively tells Seventeen in the August issue, out July 8. "It's a dumb thing to say. I dont think that makes Paris and me similar ... I don't go to clubs, I don't party, I don't dance on tables, and I don't like sex tapes." Unlike the troubled socialite she plays on Gossip Girl, 20-year-old Lively's real-life relationship with 21-year-old costar Penn Badgley is remarkably scandal free. Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford hates appearing topless on-screen - because he doesn't want his good looks to divert attention from his acting skills.
The TV hunk, who plays rich kid Nate Archibald in the hit U.S. series, hates to undress for the cameras because he doesn't believe his character would strip off for no reason.
And Crawford admits to speaking his mind when TV bosses try and persuade him to get naked.
He tells Ok! magazine, "There was an episode where we were crashed out on the sofa after a big night out and they wanted me to wake up in my boxers, so I argued with them about it.
"I mean, first of all, who gets wasted with their buddy, and smokes weed and then strips down to their boxers before they pass out on the couch?!
"No one does that. Why am I naked on my buddy's couch? It was weird so I fought it."

Lively has been dogged with reports of diva-like behaviour since hitting the big time in TV show Gossip Girl in 2007 - but she is keen to dismiss reports she behaves like the heiress.
She tells U.S. magazine Seventeen, "Since I have a dog and blond hair, that must mean we're alike. It's a dumb thing to say. I don't think that makes us similar.
"I don't know her, but I don't like being compared to anyone by somebody who doesn't know me.
"I'm my own person. I don't go to clubs, I don't party, I don't dance on tables and I don't like sex tapes."

Latest: Michael Madsen reportedly trashed a room at a Welsh hotel where he was staying - just hours before being rushed to hospital after a similar outburst at a top London hotel.
The Reservoir Dogs star was allegedly involved in a disturbance at London's Dorchester Hotel earlier this month (8Jun08) with worried guests reporting his erratic behaviour to hotel staff.
The actor was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for cuts and bruises, before being discharged - with Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, who was staying at the hotel, stating he had heard rumours a fellow guest had insulted the Hollywood hardman's wife prompting the outburst.
However, the actor had only just arrived in London shortly after trashing a suite at St David's hotel in Cardiff, Wales in an explosive bust-up with his wife, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
A representative for the actor has confirmed the actor was involved in an incident at the Cardiff hotel, but denies the star was asked to leave, according the publication.

The makers of Gossip Girl have denied they are planning to launch a spin-off series from the hit TV show.
Executives at the CW Television Network, who created the series, were reportedly planning to capitalise on the programme's success and launch a secondary show featuring one of the main characters.
The hit teen drama is based on books of the same name by Cecily von Ziegesar - and the novels were followed by a spin-off book series called It Girl.
But Gossip Girl executive producer Josh Schwartz has dismissed the rumours, insisting the TV network will not take after the author's lead.
Schwartz says, "Not sure how this got out there - but no plans for spin-off at this moment. The books do have a spin-off, but we have nothing in the works right now other than making sure Season 2 gets off to a great start."

Say it isn't so! When it comes to sex appeal, country songstress Carrie Underwood says she doesn't fit the bill – because she's a burper. "I don't consider myself sexy ... The women of Sex and the City have taken the world by storm. From their humble beginnings as a highly successful television series on HBO, spanning a total of six seasons. The series, which became known for tackling women issues in the late 1990s, also placed an emphasis on fashion, as the four women on the show have exemplified their liberal thoughts about sex through their clothing. This year, Sex in the City has hit the big screen, and more and more women are jumping into the band wagon of redefining a woman’s confidence through clothing.
More recently, a judge from the reality series America’s Most Smartest Model has come out with her own views about the film, and how it had affected the American society, as well as women all over the world.
More popularly known as one of the judges of VH1’s America’s Most Smartest Model,

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has denied he spends all his time clubbing in New York - insisting he rarely makes the most of the city's celebrity social scene.
The British actor is often portrayed as a dedicated party-goer by the press and has been likened to his wildchild character in the hit U.S. TV show.
But Westwick is keen to point out that he doesn't frequent New York's glitzy parties as it isn't good for his acting career - plus at 20 he is too young to be going to nightclubs.
He says, "I'm not into sceney spots, so we hang out in people's apartments. I'm only 20. And I'd rather be known for my career rather than my whereabouts. To be respected as an actor it doesn't help to be seen out in the clubs."

Emmy's winners for acting are chosen in a three-tier system by actors who belong to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. During the first two weeks of June, they participate in a popular vote that determines a Top 10 runoff in each race. Finalists submit a sample episode of their best work to judges, whose scores are combined by accountants in a 50-50 mix with results of the original popular vote. The five nominees in each category are then announced July 17. Winners are decided based on judges' scores of the sample episodes and are revealed at the awards ceremony to
