Trivia:

The scenes on the steps of the U.S. Capitol were filmed at the Utah State Capitol. The scenes inside the Capitol were actually filmed at the Illinois State Capitol Building. Both were modeled after and look similar to the national Capitol. Many Salt Lake City and Springfield locals took parts as extras in the movie.

Goofs:

Anachronisms: In the opening, there is a reference made to Elle Woods crying at the age of 3 whenever she was taken to BabyGap. BabyGap didn't exist until 1990, when the character was probably about 9 or 10. Even GapKids didn't open until 1986, well after the character would have been 3.

Stupid beyond description - wasted my life on this?

I'd read the reviews - they all panned the film. But I rented it anyway because my wife and I enjoyed the first one, and figured it'd be worth a rental - MISTAKE.

This movie was literally the dumbest movie I think I've ever seen. Gay dogs? Cheerleading in the Senate? Really, dusting your house would be more enjoyable. Steer way clear...nothing to see here.
