Trivia:
When Castle is readying himself to administer the coup de grace to Saint, he attaches a shoulder stock to a pistol. This is presumably supposed to be a Glock 18, a version of the Glock 17 9mm capable of fully automatic fire. This is uncertain, however, since the piece never appears again in the film. moreGoofs:
Continuity: After Saint's wife puts in the left earring given to her by her husband she drops her robe. Then her right earring is seen in her ear. moreQuotes:
[first lines]Bobby Saint: So I'm gonna get a three-to-one return on my money?
Micky Duka: Otto is the real deal. I met him at a hash bar in Amsterdam. He speaks Russian, German, Arabic...

This movie was a different comic book movie, which was refreshing. The reason why it was refreshing was because comic book movies get old with fancy special effects. I think "The Punisher" is a real gem because it takes the viewer deeper and deeper into the insanity of Frank Castle. Tom Jane lights up the screen with a talent some actors rarely have. He could go from a nice fun-loving guy to a stone-cold psycho, which was nice. John Travolta is a great baddie, as usual. Overall, the film is a great movie that any person who likes action will love. I loved the movie and it was just great to see Tom Jane finally get his screen time, that was well-overdue. I hope there is a sequel(which the likelihood of that happening his high).
