Fun Stuff

Trivia:
Production designer Bernard Hides asked for an evergreen, leaf-bearing tree on one of the sets. Someone brought him a "Bottle Tree" (Brachychiton Populneus), an extremely common plant from Australia. Hides was asked if he was familiar with this variety and he replied that he had never seen a plant like it. Hides is a native of Australia and lived there most of his life. more

Average but compelling., 22 April 2003
Author: Bad to the Bone

I couldn't stop watching it. I admit it wasn't the Godfather (I'm one of the few people in America who's never seen the Sopranos, so I can't compare it to that), but it was interesting. I must say though, that the ending wasn't very satisfying for me. No real sense of closure. Brian Benben's character, the plastic surgeon, was boring and really didn't add much to the story in my opinion.
