Fun Stuff

Trivia:
Peter Boyle claims that he was aided in getting the part of Frank Barone by events prior to his audition in New York City. He had gotten lost and couldn't find the location of the audition, so when he showed up, he was agitated and sarcastic. more
Goofs:
Revealing mistakes: In the episode with Raymond's diary, Marie makes like she is reading from Raymond's diary, however from the angle that she's holding it, it's obvious that there's no writing on the page except for a standard header on every page. Raymond also doesn't write anything when she asks him to amend the entry. more
Quotes:
Ray Barone: Ok, Robert, you want to know the advantages of marriage? Fine... There's... Uh... OK! Here! Got it! You know when you fall asleep and you stop breathing? When you're married, there's always somebody there to nudge you back to life... That's not a good example. Ok...
Robert Barone: Ray...
Ray Barone: No! I got this! Look, you want to know what marriage is really like? Fine. You wake up- she's there. You come back from work- she's there. You fall asleep- she's there. You eat dinner- she's there. You know? I mean, I know that sounds like a bad thing. But, it's not.

I am loving this!, 14 October 2002

This show is by far one of the best comedies I have seen in a long time! Great acting, writing....everything and what makes this show so good is the fact that it is based on the life of Ray Romano (unless you KNOW it, do not write it). I consider this family to be the poster children for dysfunctional families but are so funny and entertaining in the process. Loving this!
