This Venezuelan production uses a story of lost love to expose its real agenda: the rampant corruption in South America (it applies to all five countries sharing the rainforest) resulting in the disappearance of the "lungs of the world at an astonishing pace, and benefitting only a tiny, greedy elite . The film makes good use of actual location shots, and realistic characterizations of the good, bad, and victimized souls involved in this catastrophe. The best non-documentary feature I have seen on the subject, it succeeds as a moving human drama, and as a "pro-green" wake up call to the world.
