Just imagine the scenario; all you want to do is kick back on a nice, quiet bus ride across the vast, dull expanse of Texas, but a gang of meth-addicted bikers just will not let you get some shut eye. What would you do?
Well, the ten strangers in Exit Speed don’t have to wait long to find out their reaction to this rather unique situation: They fight back. Trapped in the desert with nothing but crazy bikers surrounding me, I think I’d find a bit of tough guy in me, too.
Fred Ward (Tremors), Desmond Harrington (Wrong Turn), Alice Grecyzn (Shrooms) and Lea Thompson (Back to the Future) make up the rather eclectic cast of Exit Speed, a new thriller from Sabbatical Pictures & Peach Arch Entertainment. We just got word that Speed will have its North American premiere on August 26th in Dallas, TX at the Studio Movie Grill.

Stampede Entertainment, the team behind Sci-Fi Channel's Tremors: The Series, is reuniting for another horror pic entitled Night Crew. Nancy Roberts (packager of the original Tremors and producer of Tremors 2,3,and 4) will produce with Ron Underwood onboard to direct (as he did the original Tremors) from a screenplay by S. S. Wilson and Brent Maddock. Like Tremors, Night Crew is a fast-moving monster tale full of quirky characters, scary moments, and laugh-out-loud humor, but this time in an urban setting. And thats not all thats happening. In the coming months, were launching something new on the Stampede site: posting chapters of one of our fantasy adventure stories in novel form. Watch for the first installment of Zoo Ship, the tale of four fishermen who meet a crafty planet-hopping alien in the land of 10,000 lakes.

Word came down today via the official Stampede Entertainment site that the Tremors team are getting the band back together for another (potentially) fun monster movie called Night Crew.
Ron Underwood will direct (as he did the original Tremors) from a script by S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock. Stampede’s site describes Night Crew as "a fast-moving monster tale full of quirky characters, scary moments, and laugh-out-loud humor, but this time in an urban setting.”
Unfortunately, other than the fact that the script is being fine-tuned, that’s about all we know about it right now. I’ll take it as a good sign that they’re announcing it on their site and not through the trades, meaning it may be an in-house production and won’t have to deal with the usual studio bullshit.
Keep it here for updates as we gather ‘em!
