I admit I stopped watching this movie halfway through..it was bad.
This cheaply made movie about the Colombian drug trade (apparently based upon a true story of a DEA agent who got abducted by a drug lord) was a complete disappointment. Shoddily directed, with annoyingly different music in every scene, and abrupt fade outs (for commercials?), this movie seems to follow the style of 70's testosterone-laced Chuck Norris films such as MIA, with cliché lines and boring, predictable action. Even Steven Seagal is a step up from this garbage. Benicio del Toro (an early role?) as the unpredictable drug lord is the only bright spot. Treat Williams, Steven Bauer (Tony's sidekick in "Scarface"), Elizabeth Pena, and Miguel Ferrer get caught up in this mess also. Skip this turkey.
