DVD Description
The Cold Case team is a crack squad of police investigators who reopen unsolved murder cases, using new technology to re-examine evidence that hopefully will lead to the killer. They are at the cutting edge of modern police investigation, but they have been given just one year to prove their worth. Their first case is the abduction and murder of Alice Miller, a young girl who disappeared five years ago. As the team gets to work, they inadvertently trigger the killer to strike again in exactly the same manner as before, and the Cold Team find themselves solving past and present crimes at the same time. The return of the dedicated Cold Case investigators in this gripping, contemporary drama. They are faced with the challenge of four unsolved crimes which have lain dormant for years: the suspicious death of a war photographer in a car accident; a skull buried for 20 years in a church crypt which shakes the local Catholic community to its core; a double murder to which a woman confessed and served 25 years in prison, and a policewoman - was she the victim of a stalker, her estranged husband or the father of her unborn daughter?
