True Blood — Alfre Woodard Cast
In what is destined to be one of the more interesting roles of next season, it appears that actress Alfre Woodard has been tapped to appear in season three of True Blood. The fifty-seven-year-old Oklahoma native will be playing quite the juicy role: that of Lafayette's mother.
Woodard, who most recently appeared in all ten episodes of the short-lived drama Three Rivers, has also been cast in the TNT pilot Delta Blues along with Jason Lee, but that shouldn't cut short her role as Mama Reynolds; her role on True Blood is a guest starring one, and not a major role, giving her plenty of time to star in Blues.
It'll be interesting to see how exactly Lafayette's mother feels about him; he is, after all, an internet porn star and a peddler of the druglike 'V.' Lafayette's mother may also have some interaction with Sookie's best friend Tara,

Review – The Tudors Season 3 DVD
The Tudors is one of my favorite shows. I love the soapiness of it. I love the crazy antics of Henry Xiii, the sex, the gorgeous costumes and even the occasional historical inaccuracy. Showtime will be releasing The Tudors Season 3 on DVD on December 15th.
I was distraught at the end of season 2 when Anne Boleyn was beheaded. I loved Natalie Dormer in the role so much that I prayed – somehow – history would change and she would be kept alive. Alas, since she was only wife #2, and we know that Henry got it on with four more wives, poor Anne was not long for this world.
Enter Jane Seymour, probably the most beloved of all of Henry's wives. And not for nothing – she did bear him his only son (of course, Edward went on to rule for a very short period of time and was succeeded by both of his sisters,

Trailer – Family Guy Star Wars Spoof #2
Remember last year's Family Guy special "Blue Harvest"? It parodied Star Wars Episode 4 "A New Hope".
Well, the Family Guy parody team is back and they're taking on Episode 5 " Empire Strikes Back" with Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side. I didn't know this, but apparently Lucasfilm has given permission to Family Guy to parody the Star Wars movies, from music to script to sound effects.
Something, Something, Something Dark Side will actually be released on iTunes, DVD and Blu-Ray in Canada and the Us on December 22nd. We're hoping to have a review for you of the DVD, so stay tuned.
Here's a short description of the special Family Guy episode, along with a trailer, which you can view below.
The saga continues as Luke (Chris), Leia (Lois), Han Solo (Peter) and Chewbacca (Brian) have evaded the dreaded Imperial Starfleet led by the cunning, conniving and curiously short

More Questions & Answers About the Dexter Season 4 Finale
13 hours ago
It's all Dexter, all the time here today, but after last night's shocking Season 4 finale, what do you expect? It's all anyone can talk about today.
Naturally, there's questions. About whether Rita's death was a dream. Whether Julie Benz knew she was leaving Dexter and what's in store for Season 5. Fortunately, we have some answers to share with you.
EW spoke with Clyde Phillips, the executive producer of Dexter himself, and asked point blank whether Rita's death was a dream. Clyde responded that it most definitely was Not a dream and Rita is most definitely dead. Also, Trinity is just as dead as Rita and he is most definitely responsible for her death. No dreams, no fake-outs, nothing of that sort.
As for Julie Benz, it's not clear when the decision to kill Rita was made. After all, the producers say they came to the decision later in the season,

Most Shocking: Dexter Season 4 Finale, Or Michael C. Hall's New Look?
First of all, regardless of how shocking the Dexter Season 4 finale was (and it was very shocking indeed), it was in the next to last episode that Dexter embedded itself in television history. I think John Lithgow uttering the words "Hello, Dexter Morgan" will live on the top ten of great television moments for all time.
Dexter returning home from dispatching the vile Trinity killer to find his wife dead, a very close second. A serial killer affirming his sense of humanity, only to have that slashed away – chilling.
Perhaps the strangest moment for me came in the minutes following the finale. Showtime aired part of the clip I'll present below, of Dexter Season 4 stars Michael C. Hall and John Lithgow discussing the season. It's great stuff, and I don't want to diminish it at all… but what the heck is up with Michael C. Hall's new look? All

SyFy Renews 'Sgu' and 'Sanctuary'
"Fanboys" who cried for the death of the Stargate Universe might be crying for another year and a half for it to happen.
THR reports that SyFy has given the greenlight for a second season of the third entry into the Stargate franchise, which will premiere next fall. SyFy also renewed the other popular SyFy Friday drama, Sanctuary, for a third season, which will also premiere next fall as well. Both shows received a 20 episode order.
The article also spoke with executive producer Robert Cooper about what's to come in the second half of the first season, one thing of note: an alien race along the lines of the "District-9″ type creatures, which will not be your typical Stargate bad guys and will be handled in a Sgu way. Another thing to note is more action on the ship and less on Earth.
THR also reports that MTV has decided to cancel it's talk show,

Dollhouse 2.08 "A Love Supreme" Recap
The second hour of this past Friday's Dollhouse two parter, "A Love Supreme", featured the return of an old foe, which could also be their last appearance before the series finale in January. The episode is a game changer in some sense, and it might be a precursor to everything in "Epitaph One" Not coming true.
The Set Up
A guy sits beside his mobile home lamenting on loving something that's not real, i.e. a Doll. He is talking to someone who we don't see until it is too late for the cowboy. The guy's friend? It's Alpha (guest star Alan Tudyk), who doesn't hesitate to give the poor sap a slit throat.
Back at the Dollhouse, Echo is in solitary confinement and is being questioned by a doctor, who is none other than Victor. Where is Enver Gjokaj's Emmy? Enquiring minds not only need to know, but demands for it to happen!

Dollhouse 2.07 "Meet Jane Doe" Recap
I know that I said that certain previous episodes of Dollhouse were laying the foundation for "Epitaph One", but this past Friday's episode, "Meet Jane Doe", added the framework on top of that foundation and, I dare say, started to add in the insulation and airducts for the finished project. While Echo had her own storyline this week, the real action went down inside the Dollhouse as revelations, betrayals, and oh my freakin' God moments were in abundance and my head is still reeling!!!! To the recap!
The Set Up
Topher fills Ivy in on all the stuff that went down in Washington, D.C. and how Bennett has a less cooler office, he then declares that he will never trust another woman as long as he lives. Meanwhile, Boyd fills Adele in on Echo's whereabouts which could be anywhere besides D.C., due to Echo probably hitchhiking. Adele wants

Dollhouse 2.06 "The Left Hand" Recap
The Set Up
The second half of the December two hour Dollhouse Event started where we left off with Bennett (guest star Summer Glau) screwing with Echo/Caroline's brain. Bennett then Imprints a memory of Bennett's into Echo's peripheral for her to remember again and again what Caroline supposedly did to her. Echo screams as the memories are Implanted.
Mission: Possible, Just Seductively Persuasive
Meanwhile, Perrin (guest star Alexis Denisof) pleads with Cindy (guest star Stacey Scowley) to not wipe him again, but Cindy doesn't listen and instead vents how much she hates being Perrin's wife and that she can't stand his touch as well as everything in between.
Adele and Topher are on their way to the D.C. Dollhouse to pick up Echo and Topher is excited, while Adele feels as if she is watching over an eight-year old. Their mission is to get a map of Perrin's

Dollhouse 2.05 "The Public Eye" Recap
Sorry for this super late recap. Let's get to it.
Dollhouse returned with a shocking revelation, metaphorically and literally. The stage is set for the inevitable "Epitaph One" to go down and members of the L.A. Dollhouse have to question who can they trust when the people they work for have turned on them.
The Set Up
Senator Daniel Perrin (guest star Alexis Denisof) prepares for a press conference that would destroy the Rossum Corporation and the Dollhouses. His wife Cindy (guest star Stacey Crowley) wishes him luck. Perrin enters the stage and gives his speech about how Dollhouse is not a myth and that he wants to put a face on the issue that is the Dollhouse. That face?
Madeline/"November" (guest star Miracle Laurie)
Whoa.
She makes her testimony about how Perrin showed her evidence and how she was disgusted with what she saw. She then declares

Dexter's Fourth Season Comes to an Unexpected Conclusion
13 December 2009 7:47 PM, PST
No one ever doubted that Dexter (Michael C. Hall) would eventually get his man and dispense his own special brand of serial-killer just on the Trinity killer (John Lithgow). It was what came next that will have Dexter fans buzzing for weeks to come. The end of Dexter Season 4 is nothing short of a game changer. The usual M.O. for Dexter is to wrap up each season neatly, and pick up with Dexter in the gang engaged in business as usual. This time, it's different. Quite different. If you haven't watched the Dexter season 4 finale yet and don't want to be spoiled, do not read on.
Tonight saw the death of Rita, Dexter's wife – and the final victim of the Trinity killer. After an intense game of cat and mouse that dominated most of the episode, Dexter sent Rita and Harry away to give himself a chance to
