Surprise! Damon Runs Miami Triathlon

Source: People Online Matt Damon decided last minute to participate in the Escape to Miami Triathlon Sunday morning because of encouraging words from his brother, Kyle. Kyle finished Sunday in 27th place with a time of 2 hours, 23 minutes and 40 seconds. Matt’s time for his 6.2-mile portion of the challenge was 59 minutes and 54 seconds. Matt ran in a team that consisted his stepfather, Jay Jones, and family friend, Barry Hetherington. His wife, Luciana Bozan Barroso, and the couple’s 7-week-old daughter, Gia, waited for the four at the finish line, along with a lot of thrilled fans who didn’t expect to see Matt running in the race.
