Claudie Blakely is a rising star, an underrated actress who will hopefully start getting noticed more from now on. She's done some excellent period drama roles (most noticeably He Knew He Was Right but also did have one of the main roles in Gosford Park but was never acknowledged in the lead titles due to all the really big names - maggie smith, michael gambon, richard e. grant etc). She is also to appear in Pride and Prejudice film starring Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen which hasn't appeared yet, so thoroughly look forward to seeing more of her. A credit of BBC's 'Playing the Field' which she was in for about 2 years is missing. She has won stage awards too, and comes from a showbiz family - her father was a guitarist for the Tremeloes, her mother acts on the stage in smaller productions and also her sister is the lead singer of the latest winner of Battle of the Bands in Reading this year (which she managed after appearing on Stars in their Eyes as Melanie Chisholm).
Has anybody else noticed her or have any views on her performances?
