Former Chicago Hope star Hector Elizondo is hoping to return to the small screen - in a series version of his upcoming indie flick Tortilla Soup. Elizondo has enjoyed the benefit of starring in a string of movies since leaving Chicago Hope, with his latest being The Princess Diaries, in which he co-stars with Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway. But now he's ready to return to his TV roots. Elizondo, who plays a professional chef and the patriarch of three daughters played by Elizabeth Peña, Jacqueline Obradors and Tamara Mello in Tortilla Soup, explains, "If we get the same cast I'd certainly love to do it." He adds, "Tortilla Soup will be a winner. It's got sensational reviews. It has a lot of heart, soul, passion. I'm as excited about it as I am about Princess Diaries."
