Every time I see Donald on screen I wish he would have played the role of Gandalf. Don't get me wrong, I really like Ian McKellen's performance but I imagine that Donald would have brought more depth into the role. He is tall, a brilliant actor and incorporates such an authority and wisdom in his performances, he would have been better than McKellen.
